Welcome to the JYN Robbins Family Campus, Richmond Hill Ontario Canada the first Jewish youth centre of its kind in the world — a 26,000-square-foot space dedicated to empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders. The campus features vibrant classrooms, student lounges, a recreational sports area, an art studio, a music room, and more — all designed to spark creativity, connection, and Jewish pride.
Thoughtfully crafted elements throughout the building, including the illuminated Chai sculpture and Menorah, symbolize light, faith, and identity. With spaces for both learning and recreation, the campus nurtures a deep sense of belonging for Jewish youth and serves as a true home for inspiration, education, and community.
A six-month process to locate, prepare, and perfect the world’s largest mezuzah parchment.
Written with precision using a custom-built frame to secure the oversized parchment during writing.
At 146.98 cm tall (4′9.9″), the scroll stands as the largest mezuzah ever written.
Measuring 166.12 cm × 24 cm (5′5″ × 9.45″), the case is built to house the world’s largest mezuzah scroll.

The Largest Mezuzah in the World
Achieved by Rabbi Shmuli & Chani Nachlas on behalf of the Robbins Family Campus – Jewish Youth Network of Ontario, Canada.
Klaf written in Ksav Arizal, prepared by Klaf Safranovitch, scribed by Rabbi Menachem Ashraf (Kiryat Malachi, Israel), and produced by HaSofer, Rabbi Moshe Klein and Zalman Schapiro (Crown Heights, New York), together with Rabbi Michoel Alprin (Kfar Chabad, Israel).
Completed on Monday, 20 Menachem Av 5783 (August 7, 2023) and dedicated on November 4, 2025 (13 Kislev 5786).
This record-setting Mezuzah stands out not only for its monumental size but also for its exceptional craftsmanship and value — its creation and custom casing cost $36,000.
It is proudly installed at the JYN Robbins Family Campus, the first Jewish youth centre of its kind in the world — a 26,000-square-foot hub designed to inspire connection, mitzvot, and Jewish pride through vibrant spaces, hands-on education, and meaningful Jewish experiences for thousands of youth, teens, and young adults across the GTA.
