Tell Me About Transportation.
We will be traveling to Tremblant by private coach bus from JYN.
Can I Request to Stay with Friends?
Yes, you may request to room with friends; the earlier you register, the greater probability there is that we can accommodate your full rooming requests.
Do I Need to Bring Food?
No need to worry! All your meals are included, and Kosher of course! As this trip is Kosher, please commit to keeping Kosher for the duration of the trip, i.e.all snacks you bring should be Kosher as well.
How does this Retreat Affect the Course I am Taking?
The classes at JYN Academy fulfill about 90 out of the 110 hours mandated by the Ministry of Education. To complete the remaining 20 hours, students are encouraged to participate in Educational Retreats. Upon their return, there is an assignment given to outline the moral lessons, observations and values gleaned from this trip and how it applies to in-class learning. In the event that a student cannot attend, they should be in touch with their teacher and may choose to complete an Independent Study Unit (ISU) instead.
