Meet the Staff
Meet the dedicated team at the JYN Robbins Family Campus, where passion and expertise come together to empower our youth. Together, we create a welcoming environment for teens to connect, learn, and grow.
Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas
Executive Director, Jewish Youth Network
Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas is the Founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Youth Network (JYN), serving Jewish teens and families across Ontario. After moving to Toronto in 2002 to lead youth programming, Rabbi Nachlas and his wife, Chani, established JYN in 2008 with a vision to create meaningful, relevant, and life-changing Jewish experiences for young people.
With over 25 years of experience in youth education and leadership, Rabbi Nachlas provides strategic and executive oversight for all aspects of JYN’s growth and impact. In 2024, he led the opening of the JYN Robbins Family Campus, a groundbreaking $20 million facility — the first Jewish youth centre of its kind in the world.
An ordained Rabbi and Registered Psychotherapist (MACP), Rabbi Nachlas brings together spiritual guidance, education, and mental-health insight in his work with youth and families. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, skiing, and learning Likkutei Sichos.

She plays an integral role in fundraising and the planning and execution of JYN’s many programs and initiatives. Together with Rabbi Shmuli, Chani helps cultivate the warm and inspiring environment that JYN is known for, hosting Friday night Shabbat dinners, holiday programs, and community gatherings for teens and alumni. She also oversees all JYN events, with a special focus on maintaining the elevated ambiance, décor, and overall experience that has become synonymous with JYN programming. Alongside her full-time role as mom of six, Chani remains passionately committed to JYN’s mission of engaging and empowering Jewish youth, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology in order to better serve the holistic needs of the youth at JYN.
Mrs. Shayna Krybus

A proponent of live-longer learning, she has earned an H. BSc (University of Toronto) and an MA (McGill University) and her M. Ed in Leadership (University of Toronto). In her many years spent at post-secondary institutions she has learnt the importance of learning beyond the book and the classroom, and that new experiences enrich one’s life in some of the best ways possible. With this knowledge, she aims to infuse the students of JYN Academy with excitement for academia and it is her goal to make sure that every student is the best he or she can be.
Rabbi Binyomin Warmflash

Rabbi Binyomin Warmflash hails from Connecticut. He studied at Chabad Yeshivas in Pittsburgh, Toronto and New York. His free time was spent in youth outreach, engaging Jewish teenagers at local schools and events. In 2016, he received Rabbinical Ordination (Smicha) at Kollel Yeshivas Tiferes Menachem in Los Angeles. His summers were spent as a trip leader for teens to Poland, Israel and road tripping along the West Coast. As well, he ran a Pesach Seder for Israeli tourists in Peru. After his marriage to Fraida (nee Glassner), both Rabbi Binyomin and his wife participated in the March of the Living and joined the International Maccabi Games in Irvine, CA., as Teen Outreach Leaders. Working with Jewish youth and imbuing them with a warm, lasting connection to their heritage has always been a lifetime goal for Rabbi Binyomin, and he is thrilled to be back in Toronto in the capacity of Outreach Co-Director to carry out that dream.
