How do I book a venue?
We’re excited to host your simcha at JYN! Submit your event request through our online booking form with details including date, time, guest count, and a brief event description.
What types of events can you host?
From Brit Milahs and Bat Mitzvahs to business conferences, Scotch & Cigars nights, and milestone birthdays, JYN offers the perfect space to make any occasion memorable and delicious.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 6-12 months ahead as our venues fill quickly, especially for food truck options. With the growing popularity of our space, early booking ensures your preferred date.
Do you provide event planning assistance?
While we don’t offer full planning services, we can recommend trusted event planners. We’re happy to provide basic guidance and work directly with you or your planner to tailor the event to your vision.
Are the venues handicap accessible?
Most of our spaces are accessible, and our building includes an elevator for convenience.
Are there parking facilities?
We offer 54 parking spots, including three accessible spaces. We also work with valet companies and have arrangements with nearby businesses for additional parking within close walking distance.
Do you provide tables, chairs, and linens?
We provide round and rectangular tables, Chiavari chairs, and basic dishware. Bars, barbacks, cruisers, and couches are available for rent upon request. Please note we don’t provide centerpieces, linens, or décor.
Are your kitchens certified kosher?
All food services at JYN are strictly kosher—Cholov Yisroel for dairy and Glatt Kosher for meat, under the supervision of Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas, Executive Director of the Robbins Family Jewish Youth Network. As a Chabad center, we maintain the highest standards of kashrut.
Can I customize my catering menu?
After booking, we’ll connect you with our Director of Food Services to understand your vision and create a menu guaranteed to impress.
Are there vegetarian or vegan menu items?
Our caterers can prepare specialty meals for dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan options.
Can I bring my own catering or outside food?
Uptown18 Catering provides a full range of customizable meat and dairy catering options. Clients can tailor their menus to suit their individual preferences and event needs. Outside food or catering is not permitted.
Do you provide tech support?
Tech support is available for $300 and includes branded screens, customized lighting, AV cart access, projector operation, microphone use, and in-house sound. DJ services aren’t included, but you can connect your playlist to our AV system.
Are vendors required to be pre-approved?
All vendors must be approved to ensure they understand our building guidelines and proper loading procedures to prevent damage or maintenance issues.
Do you offer group discounts?
We offer rental fee discounts for families with teens enrolled in our youth programs and for Chai Club annual donors. Please inquire if you qualify.
How long is the rental period, and do you accommodate separate dancing?
Rental fees cover events up to four hours. In accordance with Halacha, we support separate dancing with a mechitzah (partition).
