A peer mentoring program where leadership and connection come to life through sports.
This program is designed for Grade 10 and 11 high school students who want to develop leadership skills by mentoring younger youth in a fun, supportive environment. Each teen is paired with two elementary-aged mentees and spend time bonding in the JYN Lounge, followed by on-court sports and activities.
This program runs from September (after the Jewish holidays) through May, with breaks for Jewish and statutory holidays as well as school vacations. A complete schedule will be shared with parents, children, and teens upon registration.
Please note: we do not accept mid-year enrollments after the program has begun.
Program Highlights:
The program is free for high school mentors. There is a participation fee for elementary students. Sign up is required for both mentors and mentees.
