JYN Israel Experience
A new immersive journey to Israel—high-impact and high-energy.
This unforgettable trip will be highly subsidized through the generous philanthropic support of various donors, who are currently finalizing their grants and participation. The full itinerary will be released within the next two weeks.
Our itinerary, security, transportation, and accommodations are being coordinated by Israel Maven, working hand-in-hand with Rabbi Shmuli to create the most meaningful and enriching Teen Israel Experience possible.
This trip is designed to complement the learning and immersive experiences teens are engaged in throughout the year in JYN Academy. Therefore, participation is limited to students currently enrolled in JYN.
The trip will take place primarily during March Break, beginning shortly before and concluding shortly after.

Trip Information
🌍 Trip Highlights
- Jerusalem: Explore the Old City, Western Wall, and ancient tunnels. Celebrate Shabbat at the Kotel surrounded by thousands of Jews from around the world.
- Southern Israel: Float in the Dead Sea, climb Masada at sunrise, and enjoy a Bedouin night under the desert stars with camel rides, bonfires, and music.
- Gaza Envelope & Hebron: Meet IDF soldiers and local heroes, visit communities of courage, and hear inspiring stories of faith and resilience.
- Tel Aviv: Discover Israel’s innovation scene at the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation, meet wounded soldiers, and enjoy some free time in the city.
- Northern Israel: Experience mystical Tzfat, go jeep riding through the Galilee, canoe the Jordan River, and join a musical boat ride on the Kinneret.
- Volunteer projects, mitzvah opportunities, and musical Havdalahs woven throughout the journey.
A detailed itinerary will be shared with registered participants closer to departure.
🏨 Accommodations
Participants will stay in comfortable, reputable hotels in each region such as:
- Lev Yerushalayim Hotel (Jerusalem)
- Kfar HaNokdim Desert Lodge
- Tzfat or Northern Region Hotel (final venue TBD)
All arrangements are coordinated by Israel Maven Tours, Israel’s leading youth-travel operator.
✈️ Flights
We will be flying direct via Air Canada from Toronto to Israel.
Once group flight details are finalized, all participants will receive the flight information and will book and pay for their own flights directly.
💰 Trip Fees & Registration
- Total Land Package: $5,500 CAD
- Deposit: $500 CAD (non-refundable) due upon registration
- Balance: Each participant is asked to contribute as much as they are able toward the remaining amount.
JYN will actively seek sponsorships to help cover any remaining costs.
Participants who are able to contribute the full amount or assist in sponsoring another teen are greatly appreciated and will help make this experience possible for others.
🍽️ Meals
All main meals are included throughout the trip.
When we’re on the go — such as quick stops at local cafés, pizza shops, or falafel stands (mainly for breakfast or lunch on travel days) — teens will cover their own food, giving everyone the freedom to choose what they’d like.
Group dinners and full sit-down meals and shabbat are included and arranged by JYN.

Your teen’s wellbeing is our top priority. Each group is accompanied by professional staff including a licensed guide, armed medic/security, and experienced JYN leaders.
All logistics, hotels, and activities meet strict safety standards and are reviewed by Israel Maven Tours in coordination with local authorities.
