Connect Sports

A peer mentoring program where leadership and connection come to life through sports.

This program is designed for Grade 10 and 11 high school students who want to develop leadership skills by mentoring younger youth in a fun, supportive environment. Each teen is paired with two elementary-aged mentees and spend time bonding in the JYN Lounge, followed by on-court sports and activities.

Program Highlights:

  • 15 minutes of chill time in the lounge
  • One teen mentor with two youth mentees
  • Active sports and fun on the court
  • Build leadership, communication, and mentoring skills

Choose Your Sport

The program is free for high school mentors. There is a participation fee for elementary students. Sign up is required for both mentors and mentees.
