Built on a proven model similar to leading organizations like BNI, each group is composed of one professional per industry—creating a trusted environment where members actively refer business, share opportunities, and help each other grow.
Members commit to a structured weekly meeting (approximately one hour), track referrals, and benefit from both in-person connection and digital collaboration tools. What makes Mazel truly unique is that it is run under the umbrella of JYN as a nonprofit—meaning the $770 membership fee is considered a charitable donation and is tax-receiptable.

What is Mazel Business Network?
Mazel is a Jewish business community built around relationships, referrals and helping each other grow. The idea is simple: get to know good people, understand their businesses, look for ways to help each other, and let business grow naturally from there.
Who is Mazel for?
Business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs who want to build real relationships, grow their network and actively contribute to the success of others.
What makes Mazel a Jewish business community?
Every Mazel chapter includes a Rabbi who is actively part of the group. The Rabbi helps connect members by drawing on relationships throughout the local Jewish community, making introductions and helping people expand their networks. Mazel is about more than business — it’s about building a stronger Jewish community where people know each other, support each other and look for ways to help one another succeed.
Is Mazel just about getting referrals?
No. Referrals are an important part of it, but relationships come first. We want members to know each other, trust each other and understand each other’s businesses so that referrals are natural and meaningful.
How often do we meet?
We meet weekly on Zoom. Members receive the meeting link through their calendar invite.
What happens at a typical meeting?
Meetings are structured, fast-moving and practical. There are member introductions, business networking breakouts, a member spotlight, referrals, testimonials and time to learn more about each other’s businesses.
What is expected from me as a member?
Come consistently, get to know the other members and participate. Members are asked to provide at least one qualified referral per month and complete four one-to-one meetings per month.
Do I have to attend every week?
Consistency matters. If you can’t make a meeting, you can send a substitute in your place. Members may miss up to two meetings within a six-month period without a substitute.
What is a one-to-one meeting?
A short meeting with another Mazel member to better understand their business, ideal clients and the kinds of introductions that could help them. The goal is to make it easier to recognize good opportunities for one another.
What does membership cost?
The inaugural membership rate is $770 for the year during the first 60 days. After that, annual membership is $1,018.
Where does my membership fee go?
Your Mazel membership supports your local Jewish organization — not some big office downtown. Your membership is a charitable donation and is tax receiptable, so giving back to the community begins from day one. We believe helping others and strengthening the community is a great foundation for business success.
What do I get with my membership?
A weekly business network, qualified referrals, one-to-one connections, greater exposure for your business, professional relationships and a growing network of people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.
Can anyone join?
Membership is by application and acceptance. We want to build the right group of people who will participate, add value and strengthen the community.
What information do I need to provide when I apply?
The application includes your headshot, short bio, contact information, website/company information and details about the types of businesses that are good referral partners for you. This helps us understand who you are, what you do and whether the chapter is the right fit.
What happens once I’m accepted?
Once your application is approved, you’ll receive the payment link and next steps to get started with your chapter.
