Teens for the Community
TFC is a student-led community service initiative where teens create, plan, and run volunteer projects. It empowers youth through leadership, creativity, and meaningful action — all while earning community service hours and gaining real-world experience.
- Grades 9-10
- Mondays, 6:00-7:30 PM
- Program Cost: $180

What We Do
Teens meet weekly to plan and carry out impactful projects. Past events include fundraisers, sports tournaments, elderly visits, Big Brother/Sister programs, and support for families in need.
Expectations: TFC is fun and flexible, but participation requires commitment. Teens are expected to attend weekly, engage actively, and uphold a sense of professionalism.
Funding: TFC operates under the Jewish Youth Network and invites parents to partner with us by contributing to the program’s annual costs. We suggest a donation of $180 per teen to help cover snacks, materials, gifts, and overhead, but any amount is appreciated as a show of partnership and investment in this meaningful program. The total TFC budget exceeds $18,000 annually. Tax receipts are provided, and no teen is ever turned away due to financial need. To explore sponsorship opportunities, please contact Rabbi Binyomin.
