In 1981, the Rebbe launched a campaign encouraging every Jewish child to have a letter in a Sefer Torah, teaching that just as every letter is essential to the Torah, every Jew is an essential part of our people. Having a letter is a tangible connection to the Torah and to the Jewish people—a mitzvah associated with unity, blessing and protection. Dedicate a letter for yourself, your child, your grandchild or someone special.
The story of our Youth Torah began during COVID, while the Robbins Family Campus was still under construction. The first letters were written within the unfinished building that would soon become JYN’s new home. Now, as we celebrate 25 years of inspiring Jewish youth across the GTA, we will complete the Torah at the 25 STRONG JYN Gala & Youth Torah Dedication on November 24, 2026.
Sponsored and dedicated by Rabbi Shmuli & Chani Nachlas and family, the Nachlas Family Youth Torah is dedicated to the youth of our community. It will be used wherever our youth need it—from Shabbatons and celebrations to special occasions and, when needed, times of loss.
The Youth Torah represents the soul, purpose and shlichus of the JYN Robbins Family Campus—a Torah created for our youth, to be used by our youth.
Rabbi Shmuli & Chani invite you to partner with them in this Torah by dedicating a letter for yourself, your child, your grandchild or someone special.
The final letters of the Nachlas Family Youth Torah will be written at the 25 STRONG JYN Gala & Youth Torah Dedication on:
